DescriptionC-X-C motif chemokine 13, also known as B lymphocyte chemoattractant (BLC), is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CXCL13 gene. CXCL13 is a small cytokine belonging to the CXC chemokine family. Its gene is mapped to human chromosome 4 in a cluster of other CXC chemokines. This protein contains 109 amino acids. It is expressed highly in the liver, spleen, lymph nodes and gut of humans. It induces chemotaxis of BLR1-expressing B cells.
-
ImmunogenAmino acids 23-109 of human BCA1 were used as the immunogen for the BCA1 antibody.
-
StorageAfter reconstitution, the BCA1 antibody may be kept for up to one month refrigerated at +4 degrees C.For long-term, aliquot and store at -20 deg. Celcius or lower. Cycles of freezing and thawing can denaturate the peptide chains of the antibodies and reduce their sensitivity and/or change their affinity. Prepare aliqotes in such a manner so that freeze-thaw cycles are minimized. Avoid repeated freezing and thawing.
-
PropertiesIf you buy Antibodies supplied by NJS poly they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
