Specificity and cross reactivityGAP-43 phosphoSer41. The labeling of the GAP-43 protein (48Kda) in Western blots of rat brain is blocked by the phosphopeptide but not by the dephosphopeptide. An additional higher molecular weight band (70kDa) is present in Western blots of rat brain. This band is also detected by a pan GAP-43 monoclonal antibody. Species Crossreactivity: Rat. Other species have not been tested.
