Species reactivity
Cross-reactivities against enzymes of other sources may occur but have not been determined.
-
Specificity and cross reactivity
The reagents were evaluated for potency, purity and specificity using most or all of the following techniques: immunoelectrophoresis, cross-immunoelectrophoresis, single radial immunodiffusion (Ouchterlony), block titration, ELISA, immunoblotting and enzyme inhibition.
-
Purification method
The IgG (7S) fraction is prepared from the antiserum by ammonium sulphate precipitation and ion exchange chromatography.
-
Form Appearance
Purified hyperimmune rabbit IgG Iyophilised from a solution in phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2).
-
Concentration
10mg/ml

Storage and shipping
Handling: The Iyophilised IgG fraction is shipped at ambient temperature and may be stored at +Store productone at +4 degrees Celsius.; prolonged storage at or below Store productone at -20 degrees Celsius.. It is reconstituted by adding 1.0 ml sterile distilled water, spun down to remove insoluble particles, divided into small aliquots, frozen and stored at or below Store productone at -20 degrees Celsius.. Prior to use, an aliquot is thawed slowly at ambient temperature, spun down again and used to prepare working dilutions by adding sterile phosphate buffered saline (PBS, pH 7.2). Repeated thawing and freezing should be avoided. Working dilutions should be stored at +Store productone at +4 degrees Celsius., not refrozen, and preferably used the same day. If a slight precipitation occurs upon storage, this should be removed by centrifugation. It will not affect the performance of the product. Storage & Shelf -life: Lyophilised at +Store productone at +4 degrees Celsius. = at least 10 years Reconstituted at or below Store productone at -20 degrees Celsius. = 3-5 years Reconstituted at +Store productone at +4 degrees Celsius. =7 days

Description
productone is a polyclonal antibody of high purity and binding affinity for the antigen that it is risen against. Properly used, this antibody will ensure excellent and reproducible results with guaranteed success for the applications that it is tested in. Polyclonal antibodies have series of advantages - larger batches can be supplied at a time, they are inexpensive to manufacture and respectively to buy, the time needed for production is considerably shorter. Polyclonal antibodies generally are more stable and retain their reactivity under unfavorable conditions. To obtain more detailed information on productone, please, refer to the full product datasheet.
-
Advisory
In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.
-
Additional description
This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
-
Properties
If you buy Antibodies supplied by MBS Polyclonals they should be stored frozen at - 24°C for long term storage and for short term at + 5°C.
