GLYCOGEN PHOSPHORYLASE BB This item detects brain glycogen phosphorylase, a regulatory enzyme which catalyses the rate-determining step in glycogen degradation. Mammalian glycogen phosphorylase is found as three major isozymes including muscle (GPMM), liver (GPLL), and brain (GPBB), which can be distinguished by their structural and functional properties as well as by the tissues in which they are expressed. _x000D__x000D_GPBB is thought to function in the release of emergency glucose during stress, and in embryogenesis where it is the predominant isozyme. GPBB is also expressed in the early stages of gastric and colorectal cancers.

In order to retain the quality and the affinity of productone unchanged, please, avoid cycles of freezing and thawing. For antibodies that are in liquid form or reconstituted lyophilized antibodies small amounts could become entrapped on the seal or the walls of the tube. Prior to use briefly centrifuge the vial to gather all the solution on the bottom.

This antibody needs to be stored at + 4°C in a fridge short term in a concentrated dilution. Freeze thaw will destroy a percentage in every cycle and should be avoided. Antibody for research use.
