  Dulbecco's Modified Eagle Medium; With 4 is a Dulbecco's modified Eagle's medium with 4.5 g glucose per liter, L-glutamine and sodium pyruvate. It does not contain phenol red. DMEM is a modification of Basal Medium Eagle (BME) that contains four times the concentration of amino acids and vitamins.
