Storage condtionsKeep the BAP1 Antibody ( 3C11)at minus twenty degrees Celsius for 1 year. The ready-to-use solutions can be stored at four degrees Celsius for a month. Our specialsits recommend to freeze the aliquotes at minus twenty degrees Celsius for long-term application. Multiple procedures of freezing and thawing influence the specifity and reactivity of the antibody in a negative way.
-
TipsThe BAP1 Antibody ( 3C11) did not cross-reacted with other proteins during the test procedures. This antobdy is intended to be used for research analyses and it is not applicale for in vitro diagnostics.

BackgroundBAP1, also known as BRCA1-associated protein-1, contains an acidic region, a highly charged C-terminal region, and 2 putative nuclear localization signals. BAP1 is a novel ubiquitin hydrolase which binds to the BRCA1 RING finger and enhances BRCA1-mediated cell growth suppression. BAP1 is expressed as a 4-kb mRNA in all human tissues, and mapped to 3p21.3.
