-
Background of the target antigenHBXIP (Hepatitis B virus X interacting protein) complexes with the C-terminus of hepatitis B virus X protein (HBx) and down-regulates hepatitis B virus (HBV) replication. When complexed to BIRC5, it interferes with apoptosome assembly, preventing recruitment of pro-caspase-9 to oligomerized APAF1, thereby selectively suppressing apoptosis initiated via the mitochondrial/cytochrome c pathway.
-
Purification methodThis antibody was purified via Protein A.
-
Storage conditionsKeep the antibody in aqueous buffered solution containing 1% BSA, 50% glycerol and 0.09% sodium azide. Store at -20°C for up to 1 year.
-
Synonym namesHBV X interacting protein; HBX interacting protein; Hepatitis B virus X interacting protein; MGC71071; XIP; HBXIP_HUMAN.
