  • Specificity and cross reactivity
Recognizes Proximal Nephrogenic Renal Antigen. Reacts with a glycoprotein of 200kD, present in proximal renal tubules. Carbohydrate in nature and retained in formalin fixed paraffin embedded tissues. Expressed in breast, parathyroid glands and epididymis. Among renal carcinomas 93% of primary and 84% of metastatic carcinomas are positive. Other positive tumor types include breast cancers, teratocarcinomas and parathyroid adenomas. ; Since it is not possible to test each and every species our knowledge on the corss reactivity of the antibodies is limited. This particular antibody might cross react with speacies outside of the listed ones.
