  • About recombinant protein
MIP-4 is a CC chemokine that is expressed in lymph nodes, lungs, placenta and bone marrow. MIP-4's primary receptor is unknown. MIP-4 chemoattracts lymphocytes, and has been shown to exert activity on both CD4+ and CD8+ T cells. Recombinant human MIP-4 is a 7.8 kDa protein containing 69 amino acid residues, including the four highly conserved cysteine residues present in CC chemokines.
  • Other name of the recombinant
    CKb7, PARC, AMAC1, DCCK1, MIP-4, AMAC-1, DC-CK1, SCYA18, MIP4, C-C motif chemokine 18, Alternative macrophage activation-associated CC chemokine 1

  • Activity
Biological activity was determined by its ability to chemoattract human T lymphocytes using a concentration of 1.0 - 10.0 ng/mL.
  • Keep at
The lyophilized MIP-4 recombinant protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt at -20˚C. Reconstituted MIP-4 is stable for at least 3 months when stored in working aliquots with a carrier protein at -20˚C. As with any protein, exposing MIP-4 recombinant protein to repeated freeze / thaw cycles is not recommended. When working with proteins care should be taken to keep recombinant protein at a cool and stable temperature.
