Description:
Human Caucasian colon adenocarcinoma. Established from the lymph node of a 51 year old Caucasian male (blood group A, Rh+) as was SW480. The cells synthesise small quantities of CEA and are highly tumorigenic in nude mice.
A recurrence of the malignancy resulted in a wide-spread metastasis from the colon to an abdominal mass. SW620 was initiated by A. Leibovitz, et al., .
