Anti-CD117(C117/370), Biotin conjugate
Description:
CD117, also known as c-kit, is a member if the immunoglobin superfamily. It is a receptor tyrosine kinase that is expressed on hematopoietic progenitor cells. It binds to the c-kit ligand KITLG/SCF and has roles in cell survival and cell proliferation. Upon ligand binding, it activates a number of signaling pathways. It is found on a wide variety of tumor cells including follicular and papillary carcinoma of thyroid, adenocarcinomas from endometrium, lung, ovary, pancreas, and breast as well as malignant melanoma, endodermal sinus tumor, and small cell carcinoma.Primary antibodies are available purified, or with a selection of fluorescent CF® Dyes and other labels. CF® Dyes offer exceptional brightness and photostability. Note: Conjugates of blue fluorescent dyes like CF®405S and CF®405M are not recommended for detecting low abundance targets, because blue dyes have lower fluorescence and can give higher non-specific background than other dye colors.Synonyms:
