This buffer can be used to wash microparticles following activation with cross-linking groups such as N-Ethyl-N€™-(3-dimethylaminopropyl)carbodiimide hydrochloride (EDAC) and N-Hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) andc conjugation to a target molecule. The pH, salt and detergent composition of this buffer are essential to counteract non-specific interactions.
