Rabbit anti Human Caveolin 1

  • Background:

Caveolin 1 is a tyrosine phosphoprotein that plays an essential role in the formation of caveolae where it acts as a scaffolding protein. It has also been shown to bind cholesterol and to be involved in the lipid transport, membrane trafficking and signal transduction. Interacts directly with G-protein alpha subunits and can functionally regulate their activity.
