Description
Bronopol is an antibacterial agent with low toxicity (to mammals) and high activity (especially against Gram-negative bacteria) . Bronopol oxidizes protein thiols, inhibits enzymatic activity, and exhibits antibacterial activity. Bronopol is also a formaldehyde releaser[2][3].
