Human MIP-3A (CCL20) Recombinant
Background:
Macrophage inflammatory protein (MIP) -3/CCL20, also known as liver and activation-regulated chemokine (LARC) or Exodus, is a member of the CC chemokine subfamily initially noted to be expressed in human liver, lung, appendix, and tonsillar crypts. MIP-3 is selectively chemotactic for CD34+ bone marrow cell-derived immature DCs and CD45RO+ memory T cells that express the cognate receptor CCR6. MIP-3 produced at sites of inflammation may chemoattract CCR6-expressing immature DCs to the subepithelial region of mucosal surfaces.Description:
Recombinant MIP-3 (CCL-23) is a disulfide-linked monomeric protein consisting of 100 amino acid residues and migrates as an approximately 11 kDa protein under non-reducing conditions and reducing conditions in SDS-PAGE. Optimized DNA sequence encoding Human MIP-3 mature chain was expressed inE. coli.UniProt:
P78556Endotoxin:
< 0.1 ng/µg (1 EU/µg), using the LAL gel clot method.Purity:
≥ 98% by SDS-PAGE and HPLCFormat:
Lyophilized proteinReconstitution:
Reconstitute at 0.1-1.0 mg/ml in distilled water. This solution can then be diluted into other buffers. To maximize product collection from vial surface, vortex briefly and then spin down to recollect the liquid.Shipping Conditions:
Gel Packs or Dry IceStorage Conditions:
The lyophilized protein is stable for at least 2 years from date of receipt when stored at -20°C. Upon reconstitution, store in working aliquots at +4°C for up to one month, or at -20°C for up to six months, in the presence of a carrier protein. Avoid repeated freeze/thaw cycles.Calculated Molecular Weight:
11 kDaFormulation:
Lyophilized from a 0.2 µm filtered 20 mM Phosphate buffer, 100 mM NaCl, pH 7.5.
