Description
Potassium sorbate (Sorbic acid potassium) is a highly efficient and nonpoisonous food preservative. Potassium sorbate generally is an effective inhibitor of most molds and yeasts and some bacteria. Potassium sorbate can be used to prepare antimicrobial biodegradable films with sweet potato starch[1][2].
