• Description:

  R-7050 is a cell-permeable inhibitor of signaling through the TNFα receptor (TNFαR) complex. It blocks the formation of signal-initiating complexes that consist of TNFα receptor (TNFαR) I, TNFαR associated death domain protein (TRADD) and receptor interacting protein 1 (RIP1) through inhibition of ligand-induced receptor endocytosis. It inhibits TNFα-induced intercellular adhesion molecule 1 (ICAM-1) expression with an EC₅₀ of 0.631 µM. It (6-12 mg/kg) improves neurovascular injury after intracerebral hemorrhage in mice.
