Applications Notes
Neutralization: To yield one-half maximal inhibition [ND50] of the biological activity of human IL-11 (5.0 ng/mL), a concentration of 2.4 - 3.6 μg/mL of this antibody is required. ELISA:In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 8-9 μg/mL of this antibody will detect at least 0.2 ng/well of recombinant human IL-11 when used with our biotinylated antigen affinity purified anti-human IL-11 (XP-5164Bt) as the detection antibody at a concentration of at least 2 μg/mL.Western blot:To detect hIL-11 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 1.0-2.0 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hIL-11 is 0.25-0.50 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions.
