Applications Notes
ELISA:In a sandwich ELISA (assuming 100 μL/well), a concentration of 4.0-8.0 μg/mL of this antibody will detect at least 100 pg/mL of recombinant human TGFβ1 when used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents. Western Blot:To detect hTGFβ1 by Western Blot analysis this antibody can be used at a concentration of 2.0-4.0 μg/mL. Used in conjunction with compatible secondary reagents the detection limit for recombinant hTGFβ1 is 2.0-4.0 ng/lane, under non-reducing conditions. In a dot blot, a 1:500 dilution of this antibody exhibited complete cross reactivity with human TGFβ2 and TGFβ3 isotypes. Reduced cross reactivity was shown at a 1:1000 dilution.
