Neuroscience
Purification
Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Concentration
500 ug/mL
Form
Liquid
Storage Conditions
Maintain refrigerated at 2-8°C for up to 2 weeks. For long term storage store at -20°C in small aliquots to prevent freeze-thaw cycles.
Notes
For research use only.
Applications Notes
Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:64000.Western Blot:Preliminary experiments gave an approx. 22kDa band in Human Brain (Hippocampus and Cerebral Cortex) and Human Skeletal Muscle lysates after 0.3 μg/mL antibody staining. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the band we observe given the calculated size of 102kDa according to NP_062816.2. The 22kDa band was successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
Prediction Reactivity
Canine, Human, Mouse, Porcine, Rat
