BLNK (Phospho-Tyr96) Colorimetric Cell-Based ELISA Kit
Description:
The BLNK (Phospho-Tyr96) Cell-Based ELISA Kit is a convenient, lysate-free, high throughput and sensitive assay kit that can monitor BLNK (Phospho-Tyr96) protein expression profile in cells. The kit can be used for measuring the relative amounts of BLNK (Phospho-Tyr96) in cultured cells as well as screening for the effects that various treatments, inhibitors (ie. siRNA or chemicals), or activators have on BLNK (Phospho-Tyr96) .Synonyms:
B-cell linker protein; LY57; SLP-65; SLP65Gene Name:

Human, MouseTissue Specificity:
Expressed in B-cell lineage and fibroblast cell lines (at protein level) . Highest levels of expression in the spleen, with lower levels in the liver, kidney, pancreas, small intestines and colon.Applications:

> 5000 cells/wellFunction:
Functions as a central linker protein, downstream of the B-cell receptor (BCR), bridging the SYK kinase to a multitude of signaling pathways and regulating biological outcomes of B-cell function and development. Plays a role in the activation of ERK/EPHB2, MAP kinase p38 and JNK. Modulates AP1 activation. Important for the activation of NF-kappa-B and NFAT. Plays an important role in BCR-mediated PLCG1 and PLCG2 activation and Ca (2+) mobilization and is required for trafficking of the BCR to late endosomes. However, does not seem to be required for pre-BCR- mediated activation of MAP kinase and phosphatidyl-inositol 3 (PI3) kinase signaling. May be required for the RAC1-JNK pathway. Plays a critical role in orchestrating the pro-B cell to pre-B cell transition. May play an important role in BCR-induced B-cell apoptosis.Molecular Weight:
