Human CLEC1B ELISA Kit PicoKine®
Background:
C-type lectin domain family 1 member B is a protein that in humans is encoded by the CLEC1B gene. This gene is mapped to 12p13.31-p13.2. Natural killer (NK) cells express multiple calcium-dependent (C-type) lectin-like receptors, such as CD94 and NKG2D, that interact with major histocompatibility complex class I molecules and either inhibit or activate cytotoxicity and cytokine secretion. CLEC2 is a C-type lectin-like receptor expressed in myeloid cells and NK cells.Description:
Human CLEC1B ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests) . Quantitate Human CLEC1B in cell culture supernatants, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA) . Sensitivity: 50pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.Synonyms:

Cell culture supernatants, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA) .Detection Range:
62.5 pg/ml - 4,000 pg/mlSensitivity:
<50 pg/mlFunction:
C-type lectin-like receptor that functions as a platelet receptor for the lymphatic endothelial marker, PDPN. After ligand activation, signals via sequential activation of SRC and SYK tyrosine kinases leading to activation of PLCG2. (Microbial infection) Acts as a receptor for the platelet-aggregating snake venom protein rhodocytin. Rhodocytin binding leads to tyrosine phosphorylation and this promotes the binding of spleen tyrosine kinase (SYK) and initiation of downstream tyrosine phosphorylation events and activation of PLCG2. (Microbial infection) Acts as an attachment factor for Human immunodeficiency virus type 1 (HIV-1) and facilitates its capture by platelets.Storage Conditions:
Store at 4°C for 6 months, at -20°C for 12 months. Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles (Ships with gel ice, can store for up to 3 days in room temperature. Freeze upon receiving.)Other Gene Names:
