Mouse CCL25/TECK ELISA Kit PicoKine®

  • Background:

Chemokine (C-C motif) ligand 25 (CCL25) is a small cytokine belonging to the CC chemokine family that is also known as TECK (Thymus-Expressed Chemokine) . The mouse Teck gene was mapped to chromosome 8 and human Teck gene was to 19p13.2. CCL25 is believed to play a role in the development of T-cells. It is chemotactic for thymocytes, macrophages, and dendritic cells. CCL25 elicits its effects by binding to the chemokine receptor CCR9.
  • Description:

Mouse CCL25/TECK ELISA Kit PicoKine® (96 Tests) . Quantitate Mouse Ccl25 in cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA) . Sensitivity: 10pg/ml. The brand Picokine indicates this is a premium quality ELISA kit. Each Picokine kit delivers precise quantification, high sensitivity, and excellent reproducibility. Only our most reliable and effective kits qualify as Picokine, guaranteeing top-tier results for your assays.
  • Synonyms:

    C-C motif chemokine 25; Chemokine TECK; Small-inducible cytokine A25; Thymus-expressed chemokine; Ccl25; Scya25, Teck
  • Gene Name:

    C-C motif chemokine 25
  • UniProt:

    O35903
  • Reactivity:

    Mouse
  • Cross Reactivity:

There is no detectable cross-reactivity with other relevant proteins.
  • Immunogen:

Expression system for standard: E.coli; Immunogen sequence: Q24-N144
  • Tissue Specificity:

Specifically expressed by thymic dendritic cells. High levels in thymus and small intestine.
  • Applications:

    ELISA
  • Field of Research:

    Chemokines, Immunology, Innate Immunity
  • Sample Type:

Cell culture supernatants, cell lysates, serum and plasma (heparin, EDTA) .
  • Detection Range:

    31.2 pg/ml - 2,000 pg/ml
  • Sensitivity:

    <10 pg/ml
  • Function:

Potentially involved in T-cell development. Recombinant protein shows chemotactic activity on thymocytes, macrophages, THP-1 cells, and dendritics cells but is inactive on peripheral blood lymphocytes and neutrophils. Binds to CCR9. Binds to atypical chemokine receptor ACKR4 and mediates the recruitment of beta-arrestin (ARRB1/2) to ACKR4.
