AM841 is a high-affinity electrophilic ligand. AM841 interacts covalently with a cysteine in helix six and activates the CB1 cannabinoid receptor. AM841 reduces Forskolin -stimulated cAMP accumulation. AM841 also slows gastrointestinal motility[1][2].
