Leucomycin (Kitasamycin) is an orally active macrolide antibiotic produced by Streptomyces kitasatoensis. Leucomycin has broad-spectrum antibacterial activities against gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria, mycoplasma, leptospira, spirochaetes, rickettsiae and some larger viruses[1][2][3][4][5][6][7].
