- Storage Conditions: May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.
- Specificity: Recognizes Thyroxine (T4). Reacts with the T4-BSA conjugate and free thyroxine. Reactivity with L-Thyroxine is 100% and with D-Thyroxine is 30%. Crossreactivity with Triiodothyronine (T3) is <1%.
