Dopamine (Catecholamine) (APC)

  May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes Catacholamine. Affinity (kD) for DA-BSA is 10e-8. Affinity (kD) for NA-BSA is 10e-7. Affinity (kD) for unconjugated catecholamines (dopamine, noradrenaline, adrenaline) is about 10e-4. At 1uM, it inhibits dopamine binding to D-2 receptor in membrane P-2 fraction from human Corpus striatum.
