Adenovirus, Hexon (APC)

• Storage Conditions:

  May be stored at 4 degree C before opening. DO NOT FREEZE! Stable at 4 degree C as an undiluted liquid. Dilute only prior to immediate use. Stable for 12 months after receipt. For maximum recovery of product, centrifuge the original vial prior to removing the cap. Further dilutions can be made in assay buffer. Allophycocyanin (APC) is light sensitive.

• Specificity:

  Recognizes the hexon group antigen of Adenovirus. Known reactivity with at least 17 serotypes of Adenovirus (Types 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 7a, 8, 9, 10, 12, 13, 14, 18, 21, 31, 40 and 41). Does not react with Influenza A, Influenza B, RSV, Parainfluenza 1, 2, 3, Mycoplasma pneumonia, H. pylori and mammalian cells.
