NF-kB (Luc) Jurkat Reporter Cell Development Service
- Background: The nuclear factor-κB (NF-κB) transcription factor family, which has been considered the central mediator of the inflammatory process and a key participant in innate and adaptive immune responses, could accelerate cell proliferation, inhibit apoptosis, promote cell migration and invasion, and stimulate angiogenesis and metastasis. Notably, in many types of cancer, both in malignant cells and in the tumour microenvironment, NFκB is constitutively active. Most of the increased NF-κB activity observed in solid malignancies is due to elevated production of IKK activating cytokines, including tumour necrosis factor (TNF) and IL-1.
