IFNA5 (Interferon Alpha 5) is a Protein Coding gene. Among its related pathways are Response to elevated platelet cytosolic Ca2+ and PI3K-Akt signaling pathway. Produced by macrophages, IFN-alpha have antiviral activities. Interferon stimulates the production of two enzymes: a protein kinase and an oligoadenylate synthetase.
