Description
NLRP3i is an intermediate in the glyburide synthesis that acts as a NLRP3 inflammasome inhibitor. It inhibits the formation of the NLRP3 inflammasome in cardiomyocytes and limits the infarct size after myocardial ischemia-reperfusion in the mouse, without affecting glucose metabolism.
