Description
SafeView™ Classic is a new and safe nucleic acid stain for the visualization of nucleic acids in agarose and polyacrylamide gels. This dye eliminates the need for toxic Ethidium Bromide (EtBr, a potent mutagen), commonly used in gel electrophoresis.
Applications
The product is used for the safe detection of dsDNA, ssDNA, and RNA in agarose gel electrophoresis.
Features & Benefits
The product is easy to use and compatible with UV and blue light. It is non-carcinogenic and offers high sensitivity, detecting as little as 1–2 ng of DNA per gel band. It is stable when stored at room temperature (18–25°C) and is compatible with downstream applications such as cloning and sequencing.
