Staph Latex Kit

• Description:

  The latex agglutination tests are used for rapid detection of antibodies in the patient's samples against a certain pathogen. Latex microparticles coated with a specific antigen from the pathogen are mixed with the sample. If antibodies against the pathogen's antigen are present in the sample, they will start binding to the antigen-coated micropartcles causing an observable clumping (agglutination) in the sample.
