Assay Principle: Uridine diphosphate glucose pyrophosphorylase (UGP) catalyzes the synthesis of 1-phosphoglucose in the sample into UDP-glucose, and UDP-glucose is catalyzed by the enzyme to produce a color producing substance, which has a maximum absorption peak at about 450 nm. The enzyme activity can be calculated by the increase of OD value at 450 nm.
