- Description: AZD-4205 is a highly selective Janus Kinase 1 (JAK1) inhibitor with an IC₅₀ of 0.07 μM. It shows antitumor activity in combination with the EGFR inhibitor, osimertinib, in a preclinical non-small-cell lung cancer xenograft NCI-H1975 model. It targets cancer stem cell associated signalling pathway and microenvironment and is being evaluated in phase II clinical trials to treat advanced non-small-cell lung cancer.
