Description
DH5α Chemically Competent Cells are high-efficiency E. coli cells optimized for routine cloning, plasmid propagation, and DNA transformation. The DH5α strain carries mutations that enhance plasmid yield and stability while reducing endonuclease activity and recombination, ensuring high-fidelity DNA maintenance. These cells deliver transformation efficiencies up to 1x108 cfu/μg pUC19 DNA and are ideal for subcloning, library construction, and blue/white screening with pUC vectors. Supplied as ready-to-use aliquots compatible with standard chemical transformation protocols using heat shock. Each batch is QC-tested for efficiency and antibiotic sensitivity.
