Description
The Tissue RNA Maxi Kit is designed for high-capacity isolation of total RNA from large amounts of animal tissue (typically ~50–250 mg) or up to ~107 cultured cells. Utilizing BioMiga’s EZgeneTM reversible-binding silica-matrix technology and optimized buffer system, the kit rapidly inactivates RNases, removes gDNA (via optional DNase I treatment) and yields high-quality RNA suitable for RT-PCR, qPCR, microarray and sequencing applications. Typical binding capacity is up to ~1 mg RNA per column. The workflow begins with tissue disruption and lysis, followed by reversible RNA binding, wash steps to eliminate proteins, salts and inhibitors, and elution in RNase-free water. The kit includes high-capacity spin columns, lysis/neutralization buffers, RNase-free Elution Buffer, optional DNase I reagents, RNase Inhibitor, and a detailed user protocol. No phenol/chloroform extraction or ethanol precipitation is required, ensuring fast turnaround and excellent purity for demanding downstream analyses.
