ORM2 is highly expressed as a result of acute inflammation there for it is categorized as an acute-phase reactant.ORM2 Human Recombinant produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 192 amino acids (19-201) and having a molecular mass of 22.7kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 28-40kDa) . ORM2 is fused to 6 amino acid His-Tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.
