Source: Sf9, Baculovirus cells.Sterile Filtered colorless solution.Neurotrophic Receptor Tyrosine Kinase 2, also referred to NTRK2, is a tyrosine-protein kinase receptor which takes part in the development & the maturation of the central and the peripheral nervous systems through regulation of neuron survival, migration, proliferation, differentiation and synapse formation & plasticity. NTRK2 acts in learning and memory by regulating both short term synaptic function and long-term potentiation. The substrates that are known for the TRK family receptors are: SHC1, PI-3 kinase and PLC-gamma-1.NTRK2 Human produced in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 407 amino acids (32-430a.a) and having a molecular mass of 45.2kDa.NTRK2 is fused to an 8 amino acid His tag at C-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques.

Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
