Source : Escherichia Coli. The E.coli derived recombinant protein contains the Spike (408-470, 540-573 a.a.) protein immunodominant regions fused to 6xHis tag at C-terminal. Severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) has a new causative agent identified as Coronavirus. SARS Associated Coronavirus Spike is one of the main surface antigens of Coronavirus, making it one of the main candidates for vaccines. Diseases caused by Coronaviruses are usually controlled by CD8 T cells.
