Description
Source : E.coli. NELFE Human Recombinant produced in E.coli is a single, non-glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 403 amino acids (1-380) and having a molecular mass of 45.6 kDa.NELFE is fused to a 23 amino acid His-Tag at N-terminus and purified by proprietary chromatographic techniques. NELFE is a vital component of NELF complex which represses RNA polymerase II transcript elongation. NELFE is similar to nuclear RNA-binding proteins but does not bind RNA. NELFE contains a tract of alternating basic and acidic residues, mainly arginine and aspartic acid.

Greater than 90% as determined by SDS-PAGE.
Components
The NELFE solution (0.25mg/mL) contains 20mM Tris-HCl buffer (pH 8.0), 0.2M NaCl, 50% glycerol and 5mM DTT.
Storage Conditions
Store at 4°C if entire vial will be used within 2-4 weeks. Store, frozen at -20°C for longer periods of time. For long term storage it is recommended to add a carrier protein (0.1% HSA or BSA) .Avoid multiple freeze-thaw cycles.
