• Description :

  For showing the detailed structure of food factory of plants, i.e., where the photosynthesis takes place. Designed after the latest electron microscopy interpretation of the chloroplast, the 3-dimensiol structure is depicted in longitudil and cross section to show the interior details of the chloroplast comprehensively enlarged about 60,000x; with one quarter of the model is cut away to reveal the inner detail in three levels, which can be taken apart. This two part three-dimensiol model of a chloroplast allows easy disassembly and removal of the thylacoids and linking stoma to reveal the interior structure where photosynthesis occurs. The complete model is mounted on a stand with numbered Key Card.
