SPB07935 inhibits the plasmepsin II in Plasmodium falciparum and can be used as an antimalarial agent. SPB07935 regulates the life cycle of P. falciparum, inhibits the growth of Plasmodium strains FcB1 and 3D7 with IC50 of 8 μM and 4.7 μM[1].
