Description
Tetraacetylphytosphingosine is a sphingolipid metabolite produced by phytosphingosine acetylation. Tetraacetylphytosphingosine exerts its inhibitory action on angiogenesis through the inhibition of MAPK activation and intracellular calcium increase[1]. Tetraacetylphytosphingosine induces apoptosis in HaCaT cells[2].
