Description
Lunularin (Compound 3), a monoterpene, is a metabolite of gut microbiota-derived Resveratrol. Lunularin can be isolated from the liverwort Conocephalum conicum. Lunularin is a selective 11β-HSD1 inhibitor with IC50s of 45.44 and 17.39 μM for human 11β-HSD1 and rat 11β-HSD1, respectively. Lunularin has significant anti-inflammatory and anti-cancer activities[1][2][3].
