PC-3/RFP cells are derived from the human prostate cancer PC-3 cell line by stably integration of a constitutive RFP stably expression construct. PC3 cells are known for being androgen-independent, making them a relevant model for studying advanced prostate cancer. PC-3/RFP cells stably express RFP, can be used for in vitro assays and in vivo imaging.
