  PF-DcpSi is an mRNA decapping scavenger enzyme (DcpS) inhibitor with an IC50 of 0.11 nM. When administered intraperitoneally at a dose of 30 mg/kg, PF-DcpSi can improve the disease phenotype in a mouse model of spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) .
