PD24 serves as an inhibitor of both acetylcholinesterase (AChE) and butyrylcholinesterase (BuChE), with inhibitory concentrations (IC50) of 1.72 μM for human AChE (hAChE), 1.76 μM for electric eel AChE (eeAChE), and 2.64 μM for equine serum BuChE (eqBuChE) .
