Bioactivity

Protein G Agarose to the surface of highly cross-linked agarose gel microspheres in a high density orientation. Recombinant Protein G proteins are better suited to bind mouse IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG3, rat IgG1, IgG2a, IgG2b, IgG2c, rabbit and goat polyclonal Abs, and human IgG1, IgG2, IgG3 and IgG4. Protein G Agarose are suitable for the isolation and purification of IgG from samples such as cell lysates, cell secretion supernatants, serum, ascites, and more.
