Determination of the protein concentration with BCA is notinfluenced by chemical substances in majority of the samples.For example, intissue andcell lysate experiments, thetest results were not affected by commondetergents (SDS, Triton X-100, Tween), but will be influenced bychelant (EDTA, EGTA), deoxidizer (DTT, mercaptoethanol) and lipid.
